Wheel help! I'm soo annoyed!!

Giving the motor a clean this morning, but decided that today I was gonna really give the wheels a big clean!

So, I took the first wheel off (nearside rear), give it a full on clean, tyre shine etc and it looked gleaming! but......................

.....I stood the wheel up ready to put it back on to the car, an it fell over scratching 3 of the spokes!!!!! (talk about school-boy errors eh?)

Is there anything that I can use to get the impressive craters out the wheel, or is it best to get the wheel to an expert??

Chips away do a mobile refurb...bout 40sheets a wheel, but the job is touch and go...
