Wheel Refurb

Car  White 172 ITB's
Looking to get the wheels reconditioned but not sure if I should get them painted or powered coated?

colour in mind is anthracite grey.

What the difference in terms of advantages/disadvantages?

Cheers

powdercoating is much more durable and will last longer, its a tougher finish. depends what look your after but personally if your going to pay out for a refurb i would get the higher quality option and go for powdercoating

I am planning on doing mine soon, have heard powder coating leads to a more durable/harder finish, which I guess is better. But i am interested to hear what people say.

i know powdercoating will cost you around £200 for all 4 wheels as they usually acid strip them, repair damage and powdercoat etc. you could pay more or less it just depends where you get it done.

spraying would be slightly cheaper

I was quoted £160 for painting from my local body shop and £320 for powder coat from these guys:
