wheel size?

im thinking on buying japan racing jr11's for my clio campus sport but im unsure on what size to get. i dont want them to small but i dont want them to big. i want them to fill most of the arch without making the car stupidly high.
do i go 16" 17" or 18"??

on a clio 2 anything bigger than 16" will look too big and will drive s**t
