Wheel Spacers!?

Hello people,

Ive come to the conclusion that i need spacers for my front hubs as im getting rubbing on the damper. Does anyone know what size would be best? and if i will need extended bolts at all? ive got a set of 172 standard wheels on my mk2ph1 1.2?

Any help would be awesome

5mm should do. could go upto 10mm but i'd try 5 and see how you get on.

i think u could get hubcentre spacers. meaning u dont need longer bolts.. ring and speak to john2modified matt

i spoke to him when i wanted them for my old 1.2

ive just got my mitts on some 3mm spacers and 5mm spacers not sure if i could get away with them on my normal locking nuts :S

i got 5mm on the bck of my car with standard bolts and the bloke who i got them from had used normal bolts as well

iv got 5mm on the front of mine and i use the standerd bolts. seems ok but im still goin to get longer ones next month just to be on the safe side

bout 25mm are standard iirc

3mm will definately be fine on standard, 5mm you can get away with if theyre tight enough.... if you want to use the 5 though get 30-35mm bolts.
