Wheel Spacers

Just been looking at pics of my NS Clio (PH2), and i can't help but think the rear wheels are in way to far, looks kinda silly in photos. I would like 16" 172 Alloys, which would bring it out 10mm - however, do people use/recomend spacers for the car?

quite a few people use spacers, i have 172 wheels on my 1.2 and im getting spacers it still looks weird imo.. so im gonna go for some 10mm spacers each side.

Eibach pro spacers are the best. they do loads. im currently lookin for some myself but not sure how much to space it by yet
