Just a couple of quick ones...

are the standard Contis (Cup/172) directional?
what offset are the Cup alloys?
what offset are mk2 172 alloys?

TIA

Its not directional, but dont fit them the wrong way round, there is an intended rotation.

cups are ET38 and 172s ET48 (someone will come along with the 0.5s)

  172 cup,s2 rs turbo

continentals have a marking on 1 side of the tyre which shows to fit the tyre with this to the outside of the wheel.

swap the fronts with what? eachother?
Yeah, left to right...

After the trackday the nearside front is worn more than the offside, so wanted to swap them over to even the wear out!

you can do that.
But Id have to have the tyres taken off the rims and swapped over...

The contis arent really directional; on one sidewall it says inside - the other outside. The tread pattern is symetrical but the tyre construction is different, not sure if the outer sidewalls are stiffer?

if you swap each wheel over the outer will still be in its correct placing, no need to take tyres off.

True...

So they are not directional as such, but fitted with a specific inner & outer!
