Wheel waxing

Anyone used THIS and is it any good?

No but I have found NXT wax is good on 182 wheels. Current fave on the Megane alloys is Chemical Guys F-Seal, it leaves a great finish and really protects the wheels.

IIRC www.cleanyourcar.co.uk have a offer on f-seal at the moment.

I have used poorboys wheel sealant which you can get from serious performance.

Rim wax is fantastic stuff, you can literally rinse the dirt off!

Hi guys, this rim wax seems the biz, never heard of it before, proffessional stuff?

Is it easy to apply and remove etc? do you need anything else before hand or just that?

Just give the wheels a good clean before hand and apply liberally to the wheels,the wheels must be dry and i tend to leave the rim wax on for as long as possible before buffing off

Its a bit of both ,it has slight cleaning agents that will remove slight scratches etc but also is very durable as a sealant ,i normally reapply every 3 or 4 weeks and notice an improvement of the amount of barke dust that sticks to the wheels

If you look at the pics of some of the onces from lower down you can see they simply screw strait on to the PC.

I got one that bolts on when I bought my PC, think the idea is to put things over it for buffing.

I made myself a HTPC a while ago and spreyed it Renault Pearl black.

Laquer was a bit off but a PC'ing has finished it nicely!
