Wheel Width

Not sure if anybody can provide any guidance. Looking to get some 15's on my car, not sure if 8" wide will fit. Any advice?
Got a mk2 ph2 non sport.

They will fit if the offset is right, but it may have an effect on handling and the wheel bearings.

offset is et25. I haven't got a clue about wheels really, so not sure what the offset means.

Yeah i know, most the wheels i found are 57.1, which is dub c/bore. Maybe 9j at the back, but i thought 8j would be a squeeze at the front?

bin your arch liners if your going low, im enquiring about some machineiing centrebore adaptors to change the clio to vw centrebore il keep you posted about it
