Wheelnuts....

I have 12 spare wheel nuts. The ones on the car are a little bit shabby looking so I might swap them over.

BUT how can I stop them going shabby looking? Paint? Hammerite? Any suggestions?

certain chemicals cause them to corrode quicker (acidic based cleaners )..... try getting them laminated or coated with something , had mine done 6months ago .... still shiny now

What did you get them coated with?

I only use car shampoo on the wheels no acidic cleaners as they are waxed to the hilt and dont need harsh abrasive cleaning!

Sorry to hijack the thread Dave, where and how much were they? I could do with some new ones myself

can spray them in hammerite which lasts well over a year minimum depending on how much you remove them.
