just been sold a set of oz superleggaras 15*7 inchs with an ET of 37 well thats what it says on the rim.are they gonna fit a mark one phase 3 clio?i really hope so cos they are brand new.theyve got 45s on

im sure the clio 1 is ET42, this means the wheel at ET37 will stick out 5mm more, unfortuantly this is bad news, had it been the other way around then you could have simply put spacers on it, you might bo ok, depends how much its lowered, the only probs you might get is it rubbing on the inside of the rear arches.

What is the PCD, the diaganal between each stub hole, you need 100x4 for the clio

yeah thats definitly 100*4.i thought it was 42 as well but when i looked at all the books at work like rimstock they all say 35-38 so i dunno wots gone wrong!i ordered them for my car as well!

If you ordered them for you car ring up and moan. It is definatly ET42, the haynes manual says so. If you asked for them for a clio mk1 then they should replace them wiht suitable ones

The offset is definataly ET42, but next tiem i take my wheels off, prolly sunday, or 2morrow morning if your lucky i will check on mine for you

MK1s were 35-36.....and the ET he has should be fine.

Never peaked at a phs 3, so i dont know if they chaned the offset on an identicle car for no reason.

ok mate cheers ive had them on my old clio for quite a while and went back to moan and all they gave me was a new set of tires 195/45s instead of 195/50s.yeah if u could do that it would b wikid!

i know that mark 1 phase 1 and 2 clios ET is 35-38. cant see a phase 3 being much, if any, different mate. you should be fine.

Right, had a look on my wheels 2day, seems Haynes were wrong, mine are 195/45 R15 and ET37, and fit fine, only rubbed on mudlflaps, they are gone now

remember aftermarket wheels wont be the same offset as OE

the superls hes putting on are 7inches wide, OE wheels arent!!!!!!

If you had ET 43-48 they would catch badly on the inside of the arches



et37 is fine, infact IMO its perfect for clios
