when buying alloys 2nd hand

When buying 2nd hand alloys is there anything you can do to check they aren't buckled/cracked or damaged in any other way. And if you did buy some (through CS) and despite the seller saying they were fine it turns out they were damaged in some way after closer inspection can you get your money back? cheers

Via Paypal for goods = refund

Any other method = go whistle

This, or contact whoever you bought them off. They may be willing to refund or even a partial.

Or if they were posted, could it be taken up with the courier/royal mail? (Only if damaged in transit ofc)
