When to stop spending money on a car?

  Clio 1.5dci
I bought a 1.5 dci Clio 80, 03 plate for ~1800 last year.

It's got a patchy service history, but I had it serviced when I bought it last year + rear brake drums, new tyres.

It has now done 140k+, I see no history to suggest it's had it's second belt change.

Should I ignore the belt change and stop servicing the car? Only doing what's required for MOT passes, and run the car into the ground?

I just wondered whether it would be more sensible money wise?

Keep it serviced and do the belts, I dont see the point of abusing cars its asking for trouble

I'm not sure i'd bother tbh! Do all the oil changes, brakes etc yourself. And MOT will give you an indication of what components need changing...
