When were the last 172's registered?

I've just bought a 172 (FF) on a 53 plate registered in Jan 04.. are there newer 172s than this?

The engine ive bought was from a 2004 04 reg 172,thats the latest i know of in the 172's

I've seen a couple as well. Weren't they all just kept at places like motorpoint and not registered till the last minute? I could be talking complete b****cks here.

Walked into a dealer in January 04, and asked two questions. Were there any problems towing with a 172. And was there a new model due soon. The answer I got to both were lies. Lying b*****d dealers.

I've seen 04 plates on 172s and 182s. I'd imagne the 04s for 172 were ones registered late that had been sat at dealerships.

Wasn't there a 53 reg 182 somewhere????

Yeh the parts im selling on here are off a 182 53plate
