for a ph 1 172 because all i can find is for 172/182 and my understand is they dont fit ph1's?

You can cut a samco to fit, or just get a 90 degree elbow and run a breather filter on the idle valve.

you can make them fit matey i had a ph2 samco on mine and just cut it to fit
other option is a 90 bend from r1xhp or merlinmotorsport and an engine breather on the end of the idle air valve

just picked my coolant hoses up from sfs and they said they are still working on a induction hose but dont you have one mark?

yeah i have a 70mm 90deg bend without the breather pipe and just fitted a small oil breather the idle valve same job and a hel of a lot cheaper,
you just need to trim the elbow down and remove the air box mounting plate and strap,
simples

if you need a pic i'll take one close up so you can see how it fits

Mark's old pipe now on mine.

yer please mate, do you not have a oil breather anymore then? alos are we still on for them air intakes when i get paid next week?

so where does the breather go then al it looks like its not connected in that pic? so just order a 70mm 90 degre bend from samco and?

Also mate are we still good for them trumpets and ducting when i get paid next week?

The oil breather pipe has been joined to the origional idle valve hose, where the jubilee clip is, as i didn't want to cut the origional pipe.

o ive been dealing with david, i was told today they are in the process of getting the tooling for one.

order a 70mm 90deg bend from sfs (then it will be the same colour)
fit your airbox as normal,
the small pipe you disconnected will need a breather filter fitting to it,
connect that and its done,
the 90 deg pipes are only £15 from sfs

trumpets and ducting will be fine for next week matey, gonna pick some up this weekend

That is correct yes! So hopefully within next couple weeks, it'll be done and ready to send out to everyone.

Needs to be tested really on a Ph1 and Ph2 as they are trying to make one to fit both.

Interchangable pipe for breather and VDO have been accounted for as they are different sizes and will now go under the bend not out the top so it won't foul the Ph1 throttle cable.

It's just the angle that the Ph1 box sits at but it may just have to be modified by Ph1 customers to fit

djroberts any idea on a rough guesstimate pricing for these for Ph1s and colour availability?

Not as yet, should hopefully have a price sorted next week. Check out the sfs website for colours, many will be available :)
