where can i get some ducting

Hi

Im after some ducting for my clio. I wanna run a cold air feed to the air box instead of the existing one that goes into the wheel arch. Ive tried homebase and B+Q but they have naff all.

Anyone else have any recommendations? i dont wanna go to halfords and pay £20 for a piece of pipe.

Thanks

Halfords ducting is sh*tE !........dont waste your money on it....

the Ripspeed ones might sell some branded stuff though that might be better, though it will probably be expensive for what it is

the stuff Nick at Hill Power supplies is of a very high quality.......id ring him an ask....

Depends what diameter you want. You can get proper brake ducting pipe from DT but its not cheap, about £30 a metre. If you want cheap off the shelf expanding alu pipe then Halfords only go up to 60mm, although you can get 70mm pipe from some of the air filter manufacturers. Next up is the bad boy 100mm expanding pipe used for air conditioning/ventilation etc. at B&Q or Homebase, about £8 for a metre.

Brun, the halfords stuff is sh*te... im talking about the green stuff as in the filter people - its 70mm and around £12, good quality, but probably only sol at ripspeed

If you go up to 100mm or even the mighty 125! at B&Q there are two types, one sort come in plasic and metal and is usually fitted to a tumble dryer and is poorly enforced, The other is about £4.50 a metre and comes in semi flexible tough metal, very good stuff, suited to a bay with a bit of space due to the diameter of the stuff.
