not mk2 though, only mk1, but they do fit up if you have a k-tec exhaust (cos most if not all of the 172 ones have an extendable section going up to the cat.

The "Devil" decat from Prima should fit a MK2 172 (youll just need to disconnect the 2nd lambda sensor).

Err, maybe just me but I though the decat for the mk2 172 was out, with both the sensors for the lamda.

No mate its fine, the trick to it is to unplug the second lambda sensor completely and simply tape up the connector, this gives the ecu an untimately clean mix signal and hay presto! it all just works

No...

This is an actual "de-cat" mate, as in just a bit of pipe, wheras the K-Tec one is a "sports cat" hence the price difference!
