Where is the cruise control... have i got it?

Hi all,

driving a 172 2004 / 53 reg, with clear side repeaters. I dont know if I have cruise :S

please could someone tell me where it is or what it looks like?

only had the car a week.

switches on the wheel, should have it at that age

Yeah, if it has the control buttons on the wheel then it has cruise. You may need to switch it on though. In my 182 the switch is down by your right knee. I presume the 172 is the same.

i've only got the two stalks, and the stereo controls!

There would be buttons on the steering wheel if you had it.

Useless anyway, I never used it on my 182.

I use it quite often for the speed limiter function when I know there's loads of cameras about. It lets me watch the road and not my speedo.

True I did use it for that a few times.

Then forgot it was on when I went to overtake. Thank god for the little button under the throttle peddle!!!
