I thought Id check the oil in my 182, Ive had it for 3 weeks so I just wanted to make sure it looked ok. I just couldnt see the dipstick anywhere, Ive even checked the manual and it doesnt include the 2.0 ltr engine? What the f*** is going on. Help...
I admit it is a sod to find.Look infront of the engine block infront of the cover, its kind of buried down much lower than normal but it is there.Once located its a pain to get to especially if you have big hands like me.
Just got in after a quick spin in the car, thanks for all the replies. It looks as though it was an after thought taking into account where its located. As someone above said I would never take the oil indicator as being correct. Luckily the car had been in the drive for a couple of hour so it was quite cool but if the engine is hot it must be a right job. Im in the automotive industry and Renault could have easily exdended the filler tube to make it easier to get to.
Next question; I cant remember seeing the Oil filler cap either?
