where to buy paint ?

  1.5dci
ok, erm, i need to buy paint for my car,

so i need to know what i need, like paint, thinners,

its for my car but this bloke i know knows some one who will spray it, he said get the paint materials and he'll do it.

so what do i need and where to get it from, websites etc ?

i need enough for, a boot lid, inside and out, a wing, and a front bumper

( dont worry it aint been in a smash, i broke the wing, and theres a crack in the bumper which im getting repaired, its along where the splitter is , and the boot had a dent that had piereced the skin, so i got a new boot lid :) ) so i want it all looking nice and fresh :)

oh, and any1 think i should remove the clio badge from the boot and flush it ??

i think it would look nice, only 2 holes etc :)

So what you doing the Bootlid In and outsides, a wing and a bumper?

Is it a new wing, bumper and tailgate or is it the same colour as the car?

That will determine how much paint you will need,

A litre of Laquer should be plenty to cover the parts you want painting too, You'l want 2pack and a Hardner

ok, its gonna be original bumper, new wing, and bootlid is a diffrent colour,

so, all wants sanding down, priming etc, bootlid is inside and out,

im not sure of my paint code either, my reg is bv03 jyk if anyone can help. it just says green or emerald green as it was advertised,

but its a darkish metallic colour green,

Simples, Scotch wing, scotch bootlid in and out and paint straight ontop unless you go through the laquer for any reason bit of primer over area flat back.

Bumper will want sanding down bit of stopper in big stonechips and wet on wet prime it (High build primer 2:1) Your bloke painting it'l do the wet on wet bit ;)

Mornings work if that ;)

A litre of paint should cover the lot with plenty to spare, Your paint code should be in the door shut take a pic and someone will tell you the code

im all confused by this.

erm, lol is it possible to explain to me all these things.

wing will be new, so i take it that will just maybe have primer on top ? of not i just prime ?

bumper, i need to wet and dry it ? then prime it ? ready for spraying
what is this high build stuff ?

boot lid, is sprayed up normal, but obviously the colour is diffrent, so i need to wet dry and spray it with primer, ( inside and out ) also, im thinking of debading the clio sign on it, so it looks flush and nice, so fibrelass the back of the holes, filler on top ( ive got some p38 that a friend gev me when i refurbed some wheels )
and erm, as it seems that ive gotta have everything done befor the bloke will spray it,
so, if its not too much trouble, could i request a pm with a step by step, ready for painting etc ?

also what is a 2pack and hardener?
and no there wont be any dents ( hence why im changing the bootlid )

im a total novice with this but want to get it right first time :)
thanks very much for the imput.
