Where to buy wiper blades

In desperate need of some wiper blades. Bought some at motorworld (more like motorsh*te) Typically they DONT fit!!!!! Those numpties have no idea what their on about

Anyway going to attempt to get some more tomorrow, where from??? do renault sell them? Its for a 172 if that makes any difference

Renault do sell them, i got my rear wiper from them as nowhere else sold them, and they quite resonable 6 quid IIRC for the back one.. I had already both bosch ones from halfords for the front.

go to halfords, ours fit fine. just got some bosch ones on mine, so good.

although you have to go to renault for the rear one

Renaults rear wiper is around £30.00 from memory!

We replaced all of mine for significantly less than that (My dad owns a car spares business).

Err.. go back and read my post again, I got my rear wiper from reanult main dealer for just over 6 quid.. so err 30.. i think not.

I got mine form renault and paid £12.50 a blade for the front. One of those things I had been meaning to do so thought Id ask. I know I got robbed. How much are the bosh one for future interest??

which store did you buy them at and which ones did you get given ?

what clip are you trying to use them with, from memory its more than likely gonna be the CH30.....

Perhaps they realised they wont sell any at £30.00 then and knocked them right down in price. It was around £30.00 when I needed one!

I just got a nice set of Bosch blades for my car, spoiler and all....its nice when your wipers actually clear the rain instead of spreading it around

which store did you buy them at and which ones did you get given ?

what clip are you trying to use them with, from memory its more than likely gonna be the CH30.....

I got them from Mr Motor in Baildon, Bradford. Im not sure what part no. they were as i took them back yesterday, least i got a nice refund! They defo didnt fit as i was struggling for an hour trying to fit them!

The Bosch ones i got went straight on, no bother. Took me 2minutes.

I just bought some Bosch ones. They didnt go straight on, I had to turn the clip on drivers one round. The spoiler was at the top as it came out of the box.

The originals were Bosch, still only took a few seconds though. I wonder if the dealer charges about £30 labour ?

Yeah bosch spoiler are the ones to go for that you can get easily. Either get ripped of at Halfords or go to a gsf and get them for less than half Halfords charge. Has to be a Valeo wiper for the rear, again gsf are best.

Ive got morotworld ones, work 100%, very happy with them, although mine is a mk1. Regarding the rear wiper blade you can change the rubber bit itself, which i got a pack of 2 rubbers from my localcar shop for about £3, works fine.

My motorworld ones are starting to wear out now, think ill go for some PIAA ones next, quite like the look of the carbon ones
