Which 172 remap

Hi all just want to know we're to go to get a good remap from your experience I live in Newcastle and its for 172 (just because the 2-3 company's iv rang so far are saying that I will get like 15bhp and 20 torque which from what iv read on hear so far means one thing there full of s**t) and I don't really want them messing on with my car since they have barefaced lied from the outset, many thanks in advance p.s I don't mind travel for quality

I strongly recommend going to Paul (Rs Tuning). Had my megane mapped by him and just had some major work carried out by him too and he and specky were great.

Think ave just sheet myself didn't think it was as much as that but haven't said that suppose you get what you pay for think I might go down the road of rs tuner at half the price

No from what I have read if you buy it new you also get the map this is from the guide on here (below)


If you have bought a new RStuner from fastchip just connect it to the car (its already unlocked) and take a screen shot of the software and cal numbers and email Henk info@fastchip.nl with your order number and screen shot attached,also ask for the ron98 map he will send them to you.

Mmm tempting then. As they sell well second hand it would cost around £80 to map it.

It really is very very easy to do. You don't need to know about engines or mapping. Just follow some very basic instructions.

Used the rs tuner on my 172 and I thought it was great. As chip says its pretty simple to install the map just follow the instructions carefully.

Hi again just to answer the question befor I rang rs tuning and it 245+ vat that's dyno tested befor and after as well don't forget which I think is quite important so you know what the actual power output is and what gain you get, I'm going to book it next week although he says there's a 2-3 week waiting list
