Which 40mm non-sport springs give the best drop?

Hiya.

Want to drop my car 40mm. Not sure which springs are best for actual drop height?

My car is a MK2 PH2

Please no "Should go 60mm" :) Coilovers in the distant future maybe!

Apex springs for the 1.2 etc is a good bit different to the 172...

If i had to summarise the 2

1.2 - Pisch drop and only a few sessions at the physio required.
172 - Decent drop, but no kids in the future and wheelchair bound!

  Toyota MR2
i had apex shocks and springs on a 1.2 for a good 6 months. came with the car. The ride was better than my standard fiesta! I had no trouble's with them. Ride quality was good. handling was ok. gone for 60 drop now tho. wasnt enough =)

sportlines for a drop/ride quality compromise from what I can gather.

Had sportlines on my 1.2. Loved them

Apex look the best but the ride is appaling and I don't know how anyone can say otherwise. It's like being dragged down a set of stairs on your face, biggest mistake I made tbh. Oh and the handling was probably worse than standard, same at very best.

Looked s**te hot though.
