Which Amp

Any advice i want a high quality 4ch amp to power 2 sets of componants. phoenix gold, rockford, alpine? between £0 - 400 is the budget

for up to £400 there are a lot better amps than the alpine.

this amp would blow the alpine out the water, and have change!

how about something apart from the norm like this?

theres plenty out there around that price, dont just look at the mainstream brands either as you will be missing out,

my advice would be the crystal.

if you have good enough components, the legacy LA830 is a brilliant amp, full protection, etc and clipping to stop distortion doin as much damage to the speakers, etc

Got it for £109 or something, worth a lot more, was £300+ if i remember right !

Got it powering a set of sony 6x9s and a 400watt RMS sub, and doesnt even break a sweat, its at unbearable loudness and its only bout 40% of the way up, runs at 2 ohm stable stereo as well, full HPF/LPF Bass/Treble Boost, etc and has a daisy chain on it for connecting another amp to it...

with your budget, u would be silly to choose legacy, no offence meant ebee. legacy wouldnt come near the crystal or precision power.

the 2 amps that i suggest would p!ss all over most other 4 channel amps.

IF i ever sell my phase linears i would be very very tempted to go with crystal amps, i have heard them perform and they are very impressive!
