Hi guys I'm sure you'll get this fairly often on here but I really am lost!

Wanted a Clio 172/182 for as long as I can remember and the time is coming for me to be able to afford to buy and run one. But I'm just not sure which variant to go for, I've done a fair bit of homework but not really any the wiser.

My budget is around £4000 could possibly stretch it a couple of hundred (Absoloute max)

I'm a bit of a geek so would love to have the technology of the xenons and climate control from a non cup of either. (Is that right?)

I dont really want the cloth seats, much prefer the look of the Renaultsport embroided ones.

The sportiness of the cup packs are appealing i.e the spoiler and lower ride height.

Also love the exhaust on the 182, just looks better in my opinion.

So whats the best for me? Any help greatly appreciated and hopefully i'll have a thread in the project section soon!

I think what you've written in your post actually answers your question.

For your budget you could get a 2004 182 FF with both cup packs. Just check the service history and make sure it's had the belts done!!

You get all the luxuries plus the 182 exhausts you like the look of!

I have one and love it!!

probably a 182 full fat and then get a cup soiler and maybe cup suspension/coilovers and should be able to get one for in your budget

Am i likely to get a good example for £4k, seems to be the lower end of prices.
