Which Clio to buy?

Well I want a car to use over winter which won't lose much money even if i put 8000miles on it.

I'd like to go back to clio's since there such fun!

So would you go for:

A Trophy

197 with cup packs

197 R27?

I've been reading a lot about damper problems on the trophy. I don't really fancy paying £500 odd for a rebuild.

I don't see Trophys losing much money (perhaps find one that has had a refurb?).

The Trophy from that list personaly.

However to go off topic a little id definatley consider a Focus RS (mk1)

Residual values are strong and have seemed to have coped well against the new FRS coming out. It IMO is the better car than most of the RenaultSport range and definatley worth a punt.
