Which de-cat

  clio 20v

ive got a hill power one its not stainless but is well made and fits perfectly

also mongoose sent me one when i bought the rest of my system which is stainless but didnt fit at all well so didnt go on, the flanges wernt even straight, this might hav been a one-off bad one as the rest of the system was perfect

adi

there is more to a de-cat then you would think, there are (like di says) flanges in there to ensure they fit properly, the hill power one fits absolutly perfectly, id be suprised if all the others, did, Mild steel is better IMO, stinless look nice but you cant see it anyway,

Okay, I assume by decatting you guys mean you keep the exhaust standard but remove the section with the cat and replace it with a fitting straight through portion?

Yes. I have a ported exhaust manifold and a Mongoose cat-back system, so I think the cat will be holding back a bhp or two.
