Hello all,
Original problem: I can’t access my boot.
I can’t seem to find the fuse pertaining to the boot on my 2012 Clio MK3 “night and day.” I have already changed the boot lock and the button with no change. So assuming I didn’t get faulty new products, I am now leaning to something electrical.
Could anyone tell me which fuse would pertain to the boot locking mechanism please? (Photo)
All other electrical functions well back there, I.e. rear windshield wiper, but the boot will just not open. It seems like there’s no electrical going back there. Nothing happens when I press the new boot button or to the new boot latch.
Side note: My clio is left hand drive and the right, passenger side has had problems with a water leak. It seems like every winter, water accumulates under the passenger seat. Are there any wires down there that possibly lead to the boot locking mechanism?
Thank yall for the all the help in advance! Here’s my Clio in all of its glory getting its inspection (which it failed due to LED headlights 😂), but just so you know which size it is. It’s a Swiss spec.
