Id say go for the X1900XT the extra 256mb is worth it when playing a few games that make use of it and it can help.

But in most things the 7900GT will probably be quicker.

for some reason in almost all reviews nvidia beats ati, but then again the geforce is normally more expensive than ati's radeon. I have the x1800xt crossfire bought it and a week later the x1900xt 512 came out at almost the same price, gutted!!!

Oh well, more than happy with the ati, plays bf2 sweet, aint found a game yet that i cant max out apart from fear.
