Which lowering springs?

I have just got the standard springs in my 1.2 16v 2003 clio and i am wanting to lower the back 40mm and the front 60mm i think. Anyone got any advice on the best springs to use??

What about coilovers?? are they any good?? could i lower my car using them??

Spend a lot of money on a good coilover kit or not at all IMO.
