Do people tend to like modified clios more than standard ones? Mine is standard and i like it that way.................. thoughts? When i say modified i mean cosmetically.

I have an 04 1.2 16V which doesnt look too sexy due to steel wheels and black bump strips so id modify it to make it look better with upgrades such as the renault spoiler, fog lights, renault wheels, and colour coding. So id make it look like a better renault (not a 182 rip off) and not like some monstrosity that youd see on the cover of max power with captions like "fastest 1.2 8V clio in the world"

Depend on the car really. I like engine mods - who doesnt

Looks wise I think standard is better than sticking crap fiberglass kits on and crap halfords alloys. Imo a car designer does it better than people sticking plastic bits that were meant to go on other cars. Saw a brown Nova 5 door with Pulsar GTiR kit on! What the heel is that all about!!! REal Renault bits are ok like Cup spoilers on 1.2s,etc

For example the mk1 Golf GTi and 205 GTi are two for the beat looking cars ever built but people still chav them up!

Mk1s look good modded, but not the mk2s so much, subtle mods like lowering exhaust etc are good, but not full blown bodykits

Depends on the mods!
Things like colour coding an alloys are fine.
But when you start adding bodykits and that, its a big no no!

Im not a fan of modified cars but each to there own and they keep the noise down and dont drive like idiots Im fine.

Personally Id go for handling, brakes and quiet power mods as Im a sleeper fan, and my drives to steep for any serious lowering for starters.

my 182 seems to be too low already have craked me front splitter 2 days after getting the car. see a 1.2 clio the other day chavd right up to look like it was fast. lol got next to him and he put his foot down and i looked and laugthed the poor blokes car had so much fiberglass on it that it took 10 seconds for the car to even edge forward and i was driving normally lol

o well everyone to their own. he must be right chuffed with it the chavets in the back seem to love it anyway. dont think all their gold was helping him out much.
