Which OS ?

I have Windows Vista Ultimate at the moment but my HD needs replacing and l don't have a disc to re-install it.

So l have to buy a new OS.....which do you recommend?

I'd go for vista again tbh, but the home premium version.

If you've still got the serial couldn't you borrow a disc and reinstall it?

Anything but Vista, I still use XP as its the fastest for everything I do. Ill upgrade to W7 when I upgrade to Core i7 next year though.

depends what you want to do with your pc.

if its just web browsing and stuff I'd give ubuntu 9.04 a try
