which part of the warranty

By fitting an aftermarket exhaust to my 182 do I only invalidate the exhaust in the renualt warranty? any advice on modding a car in warranty greatly appreciated

You invalidate anything that has a fault that can be directly attributed or even possilby attributed to said aftermarket exhaust.

Eg, if a bearing goes they aint gonna invalidate the warranty cause of the exhaust.

I spoke directly to Renault before I got mine and that is excatly what they told me ^^

cheers mate, so those people who for example fit cams etc are pretty much invalidating the whole engine, that could be bloody pricey.

yes, but when a new engine only costs a few hundred quid it doesnt matter really in the scheme of things.

You what so Instead of spending bucket loads on getting my headgaskets and various other bits replaced on my clio i could of had a new engine for a few hundred quid! I though it would cost a bucket load more than that!

well I suppose so, but it aint half going to piss you off if the engine blows and Renault have a get out clause because of something which could well have very little to do with the problem.
