Which Pioneer HU?

Been looking at getting a new HU for my car, and i know if i go Alpine/Pioneer its going to be good.

Well i do like the look of this, the Pioneer DEH-P6000UB. It has 2 x RCA outs so i can sort my components out when i got time, along with a selection of other things.

And i also think it looks nice, however - the price is putting me off... i can't help but think its abit 'cheap'?

Is there any other Pioneer HU's that offer a better sound quality - or is this a decent bang for buck HU.

Yes that could be another contender, however - the screen has some stupid images in the background - i presume that could be taken off tho? The P6000UB just looks more cleaner.

I've got the same one your after, fits the PH2 really well, wired the usb through to the glove box for bye bye cd acation

They are both motorized afaik.

How do you find the sound quality with standard speakers? Much difference?

They have a really smart show room

Face just un-clips & sits in a nice little case, also got a remote with it for free & a couple of months ago when i bought it the sale was on & think it was only £110, only annoying thing is you cant change the backlight colour so blue HU & orange every where else but think i'm gonna change all the leds on mine soon as the orange looks so dated :dead:

Yes and No, i think you need the stalk adapters and what not.

Yep just need the stalk adapter, i dint bother as i'm not fussed about reaching 10 inches to the left to adjust as such lol

running the 800BT similar unit but with the hands free. Great unit IMO.

Pretty sure the 7000 is the one im going for now, seems a decent all round HU with endless features and connectivity.
