I have used Pilot's since i've had the car but changed to Conti v sports, I got 2 and they worked out about £50 cheaper each, great in the dry and awesome in the wet!

I found PE2s were justifiable by such a good wear rate.

Tyres are not a place to "budget" really, especially if you want to enjoy the car. Nothing wrong with trying something new though, but from experience, I'd be happy to pay more for PE2. Not sure if they're still being made, I remember hearing of low stock as PE3 are out now or out soon.

Has anyone used Kumho KU31's? I love them on my plastic skip and many others who use them on track also have them on their 'regular' cars lol.

Pradas =ditch backwards, delaminate on track.

  Civic Type R
I am currently looking for a new set for the fronts, struggling to find stock of the Uniroyals in 205/45 but have heard that 195's are ok? My mate runs Uniroyals all round on his focus RS and the wet grip is awesome!!

get pilot sport 3's although they are the most expensive tyre you can get, they are well worth the money, I would never skimp on tyres! Main thing keeping you on the road

I've found paradas to be good in the dry, pretty poor in the wet.

Conti's are the best budget(ish) tyres IMO.
