A whining high pitched sound can be heard coming from the electronic throttle body when idle. When coasting along at say 40 in 4th gear the car slows down and feels like it labouring. I can also hear backfiring from the exhaust more frequent. I think the throttle may have had it. I've taken it of and couldn't see any way of dismantling it. Is it possible to do so or am I better off replacing the whole throttle. Also, how much can I expect to pay for one? Thanks in advance.
