Whiteline ARB

LOL I won't mention your name then ;)

LOL at mum asking what it was and pretending to understand me.

NO PICS.

Well when I said a Whiteline anti roll bar she said "Is that a bar that goes on the back to stop you rolling over?"

She nearly had it. I told her it was a bar that you affix to the rear of the car to stiffen the back end up. I then had to re-assure her I wasn't planning on rolling my car.

Try explaining to your mum why you want to fit a roll cage lol

To be fair though, after the motorbike phase she's just glad i'm on 4 wheels

why not go for one of the group buy antiroll bars ? bit more money but a proven bar and has more adjustment ?

well obviously lol, i was just giving another option (maybe more reliable to actually be delivered within a reasonable time ;) )

How effective is adding an ARB? I was pondering about getting one but wondered if i should spend the money elsewhere first? I have a standard car other than exhaust and steering wheel :)

Its more adjustable (the group buy one, i shall name it Enrique) whiteline is a bit naff quality wise to be fair

Apparently the whiteline acquires surface rust very quickly.

Performance wise, I dont think anyone has tried both to compare yet? Unless fred has?

More adjustability on the enrique, whether that is required is down to the individual.

So does Enrique use the same thickness bar and made from the same material as the whiteline one, same bushes etc?

Mine strated to rust fairly quickly but then it does sit low and is subject to all sorts of crap water ect. Its only a painted bar so i can see this flaking off at some point. Wouldn't take much to flick off though and repaint.

Would be good to see a comparison of both.

The whiteline fittings are just like the nuts and bolts ect from someones washing line, not the best quality.

Who cares if you get surface rust, its under the car lol.

Fitted my whiteline on Sat, set to medium (3 adjustment holes on this one), went to Brands yesterday. Perfect setup for me now, twitchy little bastid, i wont be buying rear konis either, its stiff enough for the time being, oo er.

Recommended.

Konis were something else I have been looking at.

They are sold in front and rear kits seperatly. Would it matter only have front Konis on and not rears? This is for future refereance but seeing as you mention them now, may as well ask.
