Make sure you get another sceen cable cause the one from the nav computer goes into the mi2100 unit, so you need one to come from that unit to the screen.
Best to get an MP3 head unit, I use Sony as you can get the adapters to allow use of the remote radio control just by the steering wheel.
I had to take my cd changer out as I wanted to mount my ps2 in its place.
You lose the temp and dash display, that cant be disconnected if you have regulated air conditioning and I hide them under the dash trim.
I recon its worth the money as when you look at any fold out screen system with nav the cost loads and can be stolen easily.
So full list of parts as follows
Sat nav dash
dash sceen holder
VDO ms 5000 system (make sure you get the remote holder with the system)
VDO MI2100 screen interface (optional for ps2 etc)
VDO Screen cable (only if you have the MI2100 unit)
MP3 head unit with aux in
240 Volt inverter (optional for ps2 etc)
1 relay
selection of wiring, fuses.
6 hours spare and a good understanding of automotive electrics
Optional Nav system speaker, I have a Nokia mobile phone car speaker fitted to mine, all hidden out of the way. The screen has a built in speaker and works pretty good but its mounted under the nav dash so not that loud.
Ady182 has had me fit this set up to his 182 and I think he is very happy with it.
End results... you can watch helicopters in ya car in full surround sound, LOL
