Who has a panel filter on their 182

Any advice on which one to go for? Got a couple of prices already ..

ITG - £46 all in delivered

Pipercross - £38 all in delivered

K&N ??

Ill be shifing my ITG panel from my 172 to my 182 when the car arrives.

I had a Pipercross in prior to the ITG, but it fell to bits!!

I know power gains are pretty much non existent.

However, looking for the best for sound and also read a post where you can save a bit of cash when it goes for a service as they dont replace the air filter if you ask them!

Makes no noise either. but you are right filter life is massive.

If Id kept the Pipercross it would have paid for itself and more by the second service. You just buy the cleaning kit for it and it should last for a very very long time.

Im sure reading the instructions for the ITG, that doesnt last as long, but still outlasts an OE filter by 3 to 4 times.

About 5/6 years ago i had a pipercross panel on my nova gsi and you could hear it sucking the air in when you put your foot down, v nice sound!

I say get a BMC CDA It sounds great. Mind you so it should for the price...unless you got it for £80 or so quid like Tom...

Hehe, plus Ive been told it wont affect my warranty unless something goes wrong with the inlet part of things. If it does Ill just put my original box back on.

Did you get that in writting?

Looked at the viper and bmc but just a bit concerned about a power drop, especially when its hot (for the whole 1 week in a year).

Is this likely to happen when its a hot day? with just hot air for it to suck in?
