who likes the 4k rattle

I do. Now that mine has it, I think it overlays a nice fizz to the deep note you get from the exhaust, especially when the revs drop. How does it sound from the outside?

I know this is a common fault but what do say to the dumb ass dealers when you take it in? Will they know about it or does it need explaining?

crap sound. I thought my exhaust was falling in half. Its awful in 1st gear - sounds like a lawnmower. Girlfriend laughed it was so bad. She wasnt laughing when i nearly flipped it at 110mph racing a taxi driver though (on the main road) hahah. Never again. New knikcers darling?

LOL - My car went in for a service and I told them there was a rattle in the dash, came to collect it and they said "Weve fixed the rattle, we replaced the exhaust center section", novel considering I reported a rattling dash!!

Needless to say the dash still rattled...

mine it needed explaining then they told me it didnt exist untill i took them out in it about 4 months later and then they realised it did they need to let the engine warm up first so the baffle moves about



tony you cant really hear it inside but open the passenger window and ear plugs are needed
