whos got a sports cat?

ok i know a load of people are going to say just get a de-cat but anyway.......

who has a sports cat and is it worth the money for the performance increase? did it make much difference?

I got a sports cat and full stainless at the same time, but definately noticed a difference and the cells in the sports car are about 15 x the size of the ones in the origional, so a lot less restrictive.

I've had one on my car for a while now....definately makes a difference but expensive.

I think a lot of people will advise you to go for a full decat

I had a 5 inch wide sports cat from Prospeed... 200 cell cos that was the recommended one for the 182. Was much better than standard cos the cells are wider appart and less of them. However I then changed to decat after a month and am glad i did.

hmmm, i the reason im thinking of a sports cat is because of insurance and plus iv heard its a pain in the arse switching the the cat on a 172.

So guys who have had one is it worth it? (im looking at the blueflame group buy, almost £90 off)
