whos got the highest miled16v

iv got 101 k on my 16v and have just had plenty of engine work done,

how much life does it have left in it!?

any one got much more than that?!

Lots of life left if you look after it. On http://www.carsurvey.orgwww.carsurvey.org there are tales of Williams engines that have gone to well over 200,000 miles. I think all the bits will fall off the car before the engine goes.

Think Ben_H has higher mileage than the two of you if I remember right. 110k+ maybe?

in Holland there is/was also a Willie with well over 200,000 miles... mines is next

id have loved 1 around 80k on it as most of the probs have been sorted and its not 2 hig, mine runs well for milleage

its been sat for around 6months now once its looking good il use and abuse it

210k! my god, but surely at that mileage the engine is tierd and compression wil be down unless its had a rebuid at some point
