i do thats the thing literally removed it straight away?

are todays paints on cars rubbish?

i used 'extra gloss protection' by autoglym after the resin, but this was done months ago and im only just getting problems are the birds round my area on some serious acid trip or something?

I use that stuff about every three/four washes of the car. I find it's quite good (i'm not a car cleaning buff though)

dont tempt somone to try and find one lmao :dead:
lol im just trying to find an answer to peoples problems who park under trees and get sh*t on.

looks wise i think a roof box would look better lol

I had oxidisation on my rear offside wing and bonnet, looked like a pterodactyl had shat on it after a bindy. Anyway.

I was in Halfrauds carpark the other day and some guy was eyeballin my car, he came over and we started chatting....very long story short, he was a valeter/detailer and got rid of the oxidisation in both cases.

It was like a home shopping channel advertisement but without the annoying yank.

Needless to say I found out what he used and have got some coming, hopefully arrives today and it also does light to medium scratches.

All in all the process took around 10 - 15 mins and the car looks like never before.

Just thought I'd share that little gem with you and rest assured I feel your pain but I wont anymore!!!!:nono:

Renault paint is s**te for it, not seen any other paint as bad for it.

LOL, nothing to do with the paint, its all about the bird that does it and the diet they are on and if you leave the car in direct sunlight after it has shat.

No other paints etch like Renault paint does, even after a few mins. Do a search on a few threads - some people have had to get roofs repainted because of it. It is not practical to get bird crap off the paint immediately but it seems to be the essential on Renault Paintwork.

Fully agree that bird crap will etch into any paint in time, but none as bad or as quickly as they do on Modern Renaults.
