Why was it never called the 192?

maybe to distinguish as entirley different, i.e the 182 is a slightly new 172 people that dont know about them cant see much difference to tbh where as the 197 is a completely new car?

The 1#2 is a established brand. And Clio 200 sounds like more of a leap forward.
