Why would someone do this?

Went to my car after not using it for a couple of days to find that some wanker had stolen my door mirrors. Only the glass, but they have chipped the mirror cover, I will eventually have to get this replaced and it will require painting in Inferno. God only knows how much thats going to cost.

The mirror glasses themselves cost £40. I'm sure I could have gotten them cheaper from someone on here, but if you take your door mirrors out you'll see how bloody difficult it is without them.


Why the hell would someone take these? It was in a locked garage with around 10 other cars, and people are around there regularly.

I'm going to look at the CCTV later on so hopefully that will reveal something.

Just so f**king irritated by the 40 quid and the damage to the mirror casing.

Bloody hell its a right pain in the arse to remove the glass from the wing mirrors when they are off the car!

LIve in a flat complex. Mirrors are back in now, I wouldn't know how you get them off but I assume you just pull them, as they pushed on, which is why I can't understand why they screwdrivered the f**k out of the door mirror.

Security guard is looking through the tape tomorrow night so it should yeild some sort of result.
