Widebody Clio III on Topgear?

Just spotted this black Clio while watching Top Gear.
Can someone tell me what it is? Looks like a Clio 3 to me, but could be a V6?

Maybe spacers...

There was a pic posted here of a foreign 197 which had wheels right to the edge of the arches, makes a huge difference to the stance! The front arches are pretty huge on them, just not filled.

Wasnt hammond going to do it just before his major crash? I even remember reading that a std 197 was at the TG track ready for review
