Wierd noise

Ok,

Don't know how to describe this, but here it goes.

When the car has been sitting for a while with the handbrake on (were talking hours, not just at traffic lights etc), when i set off i get this wierd 'farting??@ :S noise? - before you start, no its not me, the bird or the dog.

It seems to be coming from the left hand rear side (possible back tyre).

It only ever does it when the car has been sat and is just setting off??

Very strange, any ideas anyone?

Cheers

Quite common. The rear pads bind to the disks when they have been sat for a while. If its doing it on one side you may want to check that your caliper is not sticking.
