havent opened it yet, but need either another remote or nunchuck, as only have 1, dont really know the score but which one do you need for 2 player games as on the sports game? or both? help please!

Both If you want to play all the games. Ie: Boxing.
Buy "wii Play" as it comes with lots of games and a wii-mote. And also buy a nunchuck, then your sorted!
