  RenaultSport clio 172 mk2
they are for an alpine gta - standard offset... any ideas?

The chance that a 9.5" wide wheel off another sort of car altogether would not just fit inside the lip of the rear guiard but somehow also happen to have exactly the right offset is zero.

On a mk1 you need a et20 offset to run a 8 inch wide tyre on the front. Standard off set is et 35.

So you will probably have to get a much reduced offset or the wheels might foul the inner arch / suspension.

Oh and you also need to cut the arch away to run 8 inch on a mk1.

Id deffo have a fitment check before you buy anything.

  172
inner clerance can be sorted with spacers
you will need higher/solid rear bump stops to stop the travel and rubbing
the car will drive gash
