will a 172 bumper...

got a 1.6 16v 2002 clio.

looking to get new side skirts, a 172 rear bumper and possably a 172 front too.

would the front and rear bumpers fit,
if not is their a solution or something else i could settle for

please help

think i might do yeh!!! its a 1.6 with a fair thew mods and at end of the month it should be about 0-60 in 7 or just under. mind u a 172 is 6.9.

so just though i would get the bumpers, some plain side skirts, and trying to choose over a 172 grill or a k-tec grill...not to sure.

dont want to copy it too much if u know what i mean?

think you will need the 172/182 wings if you want the front bumper as well. The k-tec grill don't get the cheese grater effect one.

lol that whats putting me off. foun a nice plain black mess one on ebay but the originaly is so nice anyway...? decisions decisions hmmmm

are the wings really that different? if i had to replace them would they still stay flush with the door line etc ?

Dude good idea building a rep but i dont think u'll get a 1.6 to do 0-60 in 7 seconds! 182s are 7.1! Get a standard 1*2 girll for £42 from Renault. Do rear bumper first with hole cut into it for your longlife. Then you can decide about front end because you can just get side skirts and keep standard front bumper or get 1*2 skirts which attach to wings and bumper!

aint got no side skirts atm so looks kinda naked. front ive never been sure about. though about smoothing over where the badge is at one stage. that would change the look a whole lot, and just get it colour coded.

as for the 0-60 lol i can hope anyway.
it should atleast start with a 7, maybe 6 was bit much of a over exaderation lol my bad

never goin to be as good as yous though. i love it. might pop over n steal it later lol:rasp:
