will a door removed from a 3 door car fit on a 5 door ?

as per title really, are they are the same as I cant imagine Renault making loads of different doors, doorcards etc ?

i'm breaking a car on ebay and the guy wants to ensure he buys a door from a 5 door car ?

or am I just being stupid?

I highly doubt it, they have the same wheelbase so would imagine the 3 door doors being longer? Dont't quote me but that was the case with Corsa b's

3 doors (almost?) always have longer doors, so as to allow the rear passengers to get behind the front seats when they are tipped forward.

If its a clio it wont fit, and I cant think of a car where it would.

The doors are completely different. Like chip says I can't think of any model by any manufacturer where 3 and 5 door doors are interchangeable.
